Maintenance Shepherd sheepskin slippers.

To keep your slippers on the outside beautiful, you can treat them with silicone spray. You can use our nano-spray , you can order this spray in our webshop. Your slippers stay longer beautiful and dirt repellent.

You can also treat the sheepskin slippers on the outside with hot steam  (suède) (do not let it get to wet) and the suède will refurbishing. Don't do this with the slippers with an oild color layer! In doubt, please contact us.

The Shepherd slippers can be washed, but not in a washing machine, only by hand and no chemical cleaning. We only advice you to wash the slippers when they are very dirty or smell.

Only clean them with wool detergent (preferably with lanolin) and wash them by hand. Squeeze the slippers a little bit, wring not to hard and let them dry  in a warm room, not in a clothes dryer, not on a heating. The leather can break. After that, you can brush them with a special suède brush, please don't do this wit slippers with an oild color layer.

Grease stains you can remove with Ox-gall. Carefully handle the spot with a washcloth , after that, pat dry with a cloth.

To notice: Test the cleaning always on a invisible place. 
Natural products, suède and sheepskin can react different on cleaning- and care products. Do not use fabric softener!

Maintenance wool felted slippers from Haflinger and Giesswein.

You can wash the wool felted slippers from Haflinger and Giesswein in a washing machine with a temperature from 30° degrees with wool detergent (preferably with lanolin), but do not dry them in a clothes dryer, on a heating or in direct sunlight, because it can damage the sole. Do not use fabric softener! 

You can also wash the by hand.
